Reviewers and editors must not upload confidential manuscripts or related editorial material to public or unauthorized AI systems.
Human responsibility
AI tools must not replace scholarly judgment. Reviewers and editors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, fairness, confidentiality and reasoning of their work.
Disclosure
Where a journal permits limited AI-assisted support, any required disclosure must be made according to the journal’s instructions.
