Before Accepting a Review
Accept only when the manuscript falls within your appropriate expertise and you can meet the deadline. Disclose relevant conflicts and treat the invitation and manuscript as confidential.
How to Prepare a Useful Review
Provide specific, evidence-based and respectful comments that help editors make informed decisions and help authors strengthen their work.
Submit the Review & Follow Up
Submit reviewer comments only through the journal’s official review system, distinguish comments for authors from confidential comments for editors, and respond promptly if the editor requests clarification.

Manuscripts, review invitations, supplementary files and related editorial communications are confidential. AI-assisted support may be used only where explicitly permitted and without compromising confidentiality or editorial integrity.
