QES Academic Press uses personal information only for legitimate publisher and website operations and aims to limit collection to information reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Information you provide
The website may collect information submitted voluntarily through contact forms, researcher-development applications, accounts or other enabled features. The general contact form stores name, email address, organization, country, enquiry type, subject, message, source page, status and submission time.
Researcher Development applications
Applications may include name, email, institution, country, academic background, subject expertise, ORCID, scholarly-profile link, current role, research experience, selected program pathway, statement of interest, previous reviewing or editorial experience and an uploaded CV or résumé. These data are used to assess and administer the application and related communications.
Why information is used
Information may be used to respond to enquiries, assess program applications, maintain appropriate correspondence and administrative records, support requested publisher activities and protect the website from abuse.
Storage and notifications
Contact submissions and Researcher Development applications are stored in the WordPress database for administrative follow-up. Uploaded CV files are stored in the WordPress media system. Form submissions may also generate an email notification to the configured publisher recipient. Temporary hashed network identifiers may be used for short-term anti-spam rate limiting and are not stored with the application or message record.
Access and retention
Access should be limited to authorized administrators or personnel involved in the relevant publisher activity. Records and uploaded files should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate operational, legal, selection, program-administration or recordkeeping purposes.
Third-party services
This policy should be reviewed whenever analytics, cookies, embedded media, payment systems, newsletter platforms or other third-party services are enabled, because those services may require additional disclosure.
