Before publication
Authors may request withdrawal before publication, subject to journal workflow and any documented conditions. Editorial records should be retained as appropriate.
After publication
Published articles are not ordinarily deleted. Corrections, retractions or other post-publication notices are preferred to preserve the scholarly record, except where legal, privacy or safety requirements necessitate removal.
